CrewRenew – Crew Member Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the CrewRenew platform by verified Crew Members (“Members”, “Crew”, “you”). By registering for, accessing, or using CrewRenew, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of CrewRenew

CrewRenew is a wellbeing-focused membership platform connecting verified crew with verified merchants offering preferred rates, access, experiences, and benefits during shore leave. The platform is built on trust, professionalism, and mutual respect.

2. Eligibility & Verification

Membership is available only to verified crew.

CrewRenew reserves the right to request documentation or information to verify eligibility at any time.

Membership status may be approved, pending, suspended, or revoked at CrewRenew’s sole discretion.

3. Member Conduct & Responsibilities

Members agree to:

• Treat all Merchant staff, facilities, and patrons with respect at all times
• Comply with all Merchant rules, safety requirements, and applicable local laws
• Behave responsibly, professionally, and lawfully
• Present valid CrewRenew membership or verification when requested
• Take full financial responsibility for any damage, loss, or harm caused by their actions
• Use CrewRenew offers honestly and not abuse, manipulate, or misrepresent membership privileges

Disrespectful, unsafe, intoxicated, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

4. Assumption of Risk

Participation in any activity, service, or experience accessed through CrewRenew is entirely at the Member’s own risk.

Members acknowledge that activities may involve inherent risks, including physical injury, illness, loss, or damage.

CrewRenew does not supervise, operate, manage, or control Merchant services, premises, staff, or activities.

5. Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CrewRenew is not liable for injury, loss, damage, theft, or disputes arising from interactions between Members and Merchants
• CrewRenew is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of Members or Merchants
• Any disputes, claims, or issues relating to services or experiences are strictly between the Member and the Merchant involved

6. Suspension & Termination

CrewRenew reserves the right to:

• Suspend or permanently remove any Member from the platform at any time
• Revoke membership access without notice where behaviour is deemed unsafe, dishonest, abusive, unlawful, or damaging to the CrewRenew community, reputation, or partners

No refunds are guaranteed following termination for misconduct or breach of these Terms.

7. Platform Use

CrewRenew membership is personal and non-transferable.

Misuse of CrewCard, credentials, or offers may result in immediate suspension or removal.

Members must not attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or misuse platform systems, verification processes, or data.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By using the CrewRenew platform, you agree that any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, except where mandatory applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

9. Amendments

CrewRenew may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

CrewRenew – Merchant Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation on the CrewRenew platform by approved Merchants (“Merchants”, “you”). By registering or offering benefits through CrewRenew, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Platform

CrewRenew connects verified crew with trusted, health-focused, and professional merchants to provide preferred rates, access, experiences, and exclusive offers.

2. Merchant Eligibility & Approval

All Merchants are subject to approval by CrewRenew.

CrewRenew reserves the right to accept or reject Merchant applications at its sole discretion.

Approval may be withdrawn, suspended, or revoked at any time.

3. Merchant Obligations

Merchants agree to:

• Honor all published and agreed CrewRenew offers without discrimination
• Treat CrewRenew Members fairly, respectfully, and professionally
• Maintain a safe, lawful, and appropriately insured business environment
• Clearly communicate all offer terms, limitations, exclusions, and availability
• Retain lawful right of admission in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

4. Offers & Verification

Offers must be genuine, accurate, and available during advertised periods.

Merchants agree to accept CrewRenew verification methods, including CrewCard validation.

Abuse, refusal without reasonable cause, misrepresentation of offers, or failure to honor verified benefits may result in removal from the platform.

5. Marketing & Promotion Consent

By participating on CrewRenew, Merchants expressly agree that:

• CrewRenew may advertise, promote, and market Merchant offers, branding, and business details
• Promotion may occur on the CrewRenew website, mobile platforms, email campaigns, and social media channels
• CrewRenew may use submitted logos, images, descriptions, and offer details for promotional purposes without additional compensation

Merchants retain ownership of their brand assets.

6. Future Commercial Participation & Growth Support

CrewRenew is committed to supporting long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with its Merchants.

Where a Merchant experiences consistent, measurable business growth, customer volume, or revenue directly attributable to participation on the CrewRenew platform, CrewRenew reserves the right to propose a future commercial arrangement, which may include a modest commission or performance-based contribution.

Any such arrangement will be discussed transparently, agreed in advance, and implemented only with the Merchant’s consent.

Additionally, where Merchants do not experience increased business through standard platform exposure, CrewRenew may, at its discretion, offer enhanced marketing support, promotional visibility, or direct marketing initiatives to assist in driving engagement and value.

7. Liability & Indemnity

Merchants are solely responsible for their services, staff, premises, operations, and customer safety.

CrewRenew does not control, operate, or manage Merchant businesses.

Merchants agree to indemnify and hold CrewRenew harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from Merchant operations, services, negligence, or misconduct.

8. Conduct & Platform Integrity

Merchants must act in good faith and uphold CrewRenew’s professional, ethical, and wellbeing-focused standards.

Disrespectful treatment of Members, unsafe practices, dishonest conduct, or reputational harm to CrewRenew will not be tolerated.

• Seaman’s book details
• A selfie – used for CrewCard Identifaction
• Account login and usage data
• Membership status and verification records
• Communication preferences
• CrewCard usage

3.2 Merchants

• Business name and description
• Business location and category
• Contact person name and contact details
• Logos, images, and branding assets
• Offer details and verification logs
• Platform usage and activity data

3.3 Technical & Usage Data

We may automatically collect:

• IP address
• Device and browser information
• Log files
• Platform interaction data
• PWA usage and performance data

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your location, we process personal data under one or more of the following lawful bases:

• Verification documents are viewed and then erased from the system in the verification process. A selfie is retained for use in CrewCard identification.
